The Time’s Ice Cream Castle on vinyl, catalog 1-25109, with the record graded VG+.
Led by Morris Day, The Time gave the Minneapolis sound its own sharp-suited, swaggering funk identity. Ice Cream Castle is closely linked to the group’s appearances in Purple Rain, with “Jungle Love” and “The Bird” bringing their theatrical call-and-response energy onto record. This 1-25109 copy has a VG+ record grade and offers a direct line into the Prince-era Minneapolis scene.
