Talking Heads’ debut album, 77, is a Sire reissue identified by catalog number R16036, graded VG+.

The band’s spare, nervy art-rock approach made their 1977 debut stand apart, pairing David Byrne’s distinctive vocals with taut rhythms and wiry guitar. “Psycho Killer” became an enduring calling card, while the rest of the album captures the group developing its clipped, inventive sound. This VG+ reissue is a strong way to add the record to a collection without needing an original pressing.
