The Youngbloods’ Elephant Mountain is a 1969 folk-rock LP; this record is graded VG+.
Emerging from the late-1960s folk-rock scene, The Youngbloods stretched beyond the breezy sound of “Get Together” on Elephant Mountain. The album moves between melodic harmonies, jazz-tinged arrangements, and more exploratory rock, with “Darkness, Darkness” at its center. This VG+ record offers a collector a copy of a distinctive turn in the band’s catalog.
