Cat Stevens – Numbers (Vinyl LP, VG+)

Cat Stevens’ Numbers on vinyl, with the record graded VG+; no catalog number was supplied.

After the intimate folk-pop that made him a major singer-songwriter, Stevens took a more conceptual turn with Numbers. The album frames its songs within an illustrated story about numbers and individuality, pairing his familiar melodic voice with a more playful, theatrical approach; “Banapple Gas” is one of its best-known tracks. This copy’s VG+ record grade makes it an appealing listen for collectors exploring beyond his best-known early albums.
