By 1970, The Band had already changed what rock and roll could sound like twice over — and Stage Fright finds them pushing further into unease and introspection. Darker and more fractured than Music from Big Pink, it's a record that rewards close listening, full of Robbie Robertson's tightly coiled guitar and three-part harmonies that feel like they're holding something back. The vinyl is a very clean VG+ copy that plays beautifully; the outer sleeve shows normal wear. A strong copy for any serious rock collector.
