The Amazing Rhythm Aces – Stacked Deck (1975, ABCD-913)

The Amazing Rhythm Aces’ 1975 debut Stacked Deck, ABC Records catalog ABCD-913, with the record graded VG+.
Led by Russell Smith’s understated vocals, the Amazing Rhythm Aces made roots music that slipped easily between country, Memphis soul, and Southern rock. Stacked Deck introduced that relaxed but sharply played sound to a wider audience, with “Third Rate Romance” becoming its signature crossover song. This ABCD-913 copy has a VG+ record grade and appeals to collectors of the band’s first, defining release.
