The album captures War before its later run of signature hits, with Burdon acting as both vocalist and storyteller; this VG+ record is an appealing entry point for collectors interested in where psychedelic blues meets the band’s emerging funk vocabulary.

Artist: Eric Burdon and War

Label: MGM Records

Catalog number: SE 4663

Album year: 1970

Format: LP

Record condition: VG+
