Chicago – Chicago II (KGP 24, CS 9977)

Chicago’s second album on vinyl, identified by “It Better End Soon” and the supplied markings KGP 24 and CS 9977; the records are graded VG+.

Chicago fused a rock rhythm section with a full horn line to make its early albums sound unlike most of its peers. The multi-part “It Better End Soon” suite is a centerpiece of the group’s second album, extending their brass-led arrangements into a longer, more politically charged form alongside songs such as “25 or 6 to 4.” This copy carries the supplied KGP 24 and CS 9977 markings and a VG+ record grade, offering a substantial document of their early sound.
