We’re a couple who love music, love finding cool records, and decided that turning a hobby into a business was a good idea. (Ask us again how good of an idea that was after we’ve filled the house with even more records and it’s standing room only haha).
The funny thing is, we haven’t always been vinyl collectors. We’ve always loved music — the songs, the artists, the memories attached to them, and the way one song can instantly take you back to a specific time in your life.
Vinyl came along somewhere in the middle of all that.
Then came the record hunting.
And if you know, you know.
There’s something about digging through stacks of records and wondering what you’re going to find. You might walk in looking for one specific album and somehow leave with five records you absolutely did not come there for.
At least that’s what we tell ourselves.
Eventually, we started thinking, “We really enjoy doing this… so why not turn it into something?”
And here we are.
We’re still new to the vinyl-selling world, so we’re learning as we go, searching for records we think other music lovers will enjoy, and having a whole lot of fun along the way.
You’ll find us online and out at Vinyl Swap pop-ups, where we get to do one of our favorite things: talk music, dig through records, discover new favorites, and meet other people who appreciate the magic of vinyl.
Our collection will always be a mix of the music we love and the records we think are worth sharing. From R&B and hip-hop to soul, funk, pop, rock, and everything in between, we’re not putting ourselves in just one box. If it sounds good, feels like memories, or makes us stop and say “This is a jam!” — chances are we’re interested.
And that’s really what we want this to be about.
